Addams, Ellen R. (Croopnick) of Brockton, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Nov. 8. Beloved husband of 48 years of Paul Addams. Devoted mother of Amy Strain of Brockton, Gayle Bassil and her husband Joseph of Easton, and Michael Addams and his fiancé Bobbie of Walpole. Devoted and loving grandmother of Rachel & Chloe Bassil of Easton and Benjamin & Emily Strain of Brockton. Also her "daughter born of her heart", Alice Bartorelli of Brockton. Survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Steven & Bonnie Croopnick of Newton. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends. Private services. Shiva will be at the home of Gayle & Joseph Bassil, 27 Cobblestone Road, Easton on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4-8 pm, and Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 2-8 pm.
