Crehan, Elizabeth A. (Burke) of West Roxbury formerly of Brighton passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late David M. Crehan. Devoted mother of Beth Tammaro of Dedham, David Crehan and his wife Pamela of Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Sarah Hines and her husband Stephen of Norwood and Falmouth. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren Corianne Scheffler, Samantha Crehan, Kaitlin Kellem, Paul Crehan, J.J. Tammaro, Molly Crehan, Rebecca Tammaro and John Crehan.   She adored her great grandchildren Paul, Parker and Oliver. Elizabeth was a graduate of Regis College and completed her Masters Degree at Boston University. Early in her career as a teacher, Elizabeth met her husband David and the rest is history. With Dave and their three children, Elizabeth enjoyed time by the water in West Dennis and later in Hull. For decades, Elizabeth was a teacher to students with special needs and after retirement she and Dave traveled to Bermuda and the Dominican Republic. Elizabeth was quiet and reserved but shined brightly to those she spent time with – including her many book club friends and those she had coffee with after church at St. John's. Visiting hours will be held on Friday morning November 10, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St. West Roxbury at 11:00 am. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
