Edward Charles May

Edward May of Sharon, Massachusetts expired on 7/26/21 after a long illness. Ed was born on 10/10/48 to Charles and Emily May(nee Green) of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Ed had an extraordinary love of all people. He was kind and tried to help people from all walks of life.

His passion was to be in service to others and he always wore his heart on his sleeve.

He was called to walk with the Lord several years ago and was a devout Christian. He had many

different jobs during his life and was happiest when he was ministering and calling others to come to be "born again". He could often recite a verse that would lift one up when they were questioning their life, faith or their behavior.

Ed loved to sing and share his voice with others and he also loved the applause he received when he did perform, especially at his elderly housing facility in Sharon. He often was found cheering on the other residents at his last home at the Walpole Health Center and loved giving the morning updates on the loudspeaker. He was a natural at making friends, supporting others and being a "Ham" with a wonderful sense of humor.

Ed leaves behind two daughters, Jessica and her husband Greg Marshall and their daughter Mia and Rebecca and her husband, Jorge Cabrera and their sons Jorge and Gabe. He also leaves his sister Helen May McNabb and her partner Christopher and her children and grandchildren  and many loving cousins and friends.

Ed will be laid to rest on Thursday, July 29th at a private family service.
