McCullough, Diane, a 46-year resident of Medfield passed on January 12, 2015. She often said "What I do today must be important for I am giving a day of my life to do it", and she lived her life with this philosophy in mind. The devoted wife to Richard "Dick" McCullough. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family in England. Diane will be remembered by her beautiful smile and radiant personality which always lit up the room. Her enthusiasm for life included her family, her job, her church, and her community service. As a leader in the local real estate community, working with Century 21 Commonwealth for 15 years, Diane found her true passion in serving others. Her energetic efforts were awarded with multiple local and national awards. Diane was an active member in her church, serving on various committees and capacities over the years. Her involvement included the Executive Board, President, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, and 25 years as Music Committee Chairman. Due to her commitment to education and the arts, she volunteered many hours to the Medfield Public Schools and the Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts. In addition to serving on the Board of Visitors, she created and perpetuated the annual graduation dance at Walnut Hill. Diane and Dick made frequent trips to visit life-long friends in England - where they had lived during the early years of their marriage. Traveling was an important part of her family life. In 1963, she graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis with a degree in accounting. While at Butler, she served as President and Treasurer for the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. After graduation, she worked for IBM in the United States and in England before moving to the Boston area. She was the loving mother to Jamais Trujillo and her husband Ruben of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina and Jordan McCullough and his wife Joanna and two grandchildren, Duncan and Hazel of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and Cousins Ann and Michael Wetzel of Indianapolis, Indiana.
