Hansen, Denise M. (Nolan)

Of Boston, MA, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on August 16, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of Stephen Hansen, cherished daughter of Phyllis Nolan (McGrath), Adored mother of Kristin, Jennifer, Ryan and her niece Jacqueline, Devoted grandmother of Jocelyn Weir, Devin Carroll and Jordyn Weir. Loving mother-in-law to Jack Weir, Megan O'Connor and son-in-law to be Gerry Ramsey. Dear sister of Patricia Hoover, John and Joseph Nolan and the late Phyllis Nolan. Friend to countless others.

Denise, after finishing nursing school, met the love of her life and spent the rest of hers making everyone around her feel and be a part of that love. She welcomed everyone as family and was always willing to lend an ear if you needed to talk. She never put herself first and never had a bad word to say about others.

Denise was a force of nature and left her mark on this world and everyone she came in contact with. The love she shared was immense and her loss will be felt by all.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday August 22, at 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
