Thorp --- David M. of Medfield, January 9, 2011. Beloved husband of Barbara (Staszesky) Thorp. Loving father of Catherine, Nicholas and Gabrielle. Cherished Didi of Cecilia and Mary-Clare. Brother of Burnham and Mark Thorp both of Canada and the late Matthew Thorp. Son of the late David and Dorothy Thorp and Son-in-law of Frank and Barbara Staszesky of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring St, Medfield on Saturday January 15th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Church on Friday January 14th from 3:00 - 8:00pm. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. David was the Director of Catholics Come Home for the Archdiocese of Boston.
