After a brave and hard fought battle with cancer, David P. Komenchuk passed away on October 6, 2020. He died peacefully at the Old Colony Hospice where he was receiving wonderful care. He was 60 years old.

David was born on November 30, 1959 in Wilmington, MA. David is the son of the late Walter and Barbara (Donahue) Komenchuk. He is the brother of the late Walter R. Komenchuk and the husband of the late Linda Komenchuk. He is survived by one niece and many friends at The Edinburg Center.

David worked in construction in Boston for many years of his life. In his free time, David loved listening to music and was an avid guitar player. David loved to travel and enjoyed taking trips to Hawaii, Florida and other destinations.

David was well-known and loved within his community of friends.

David was cremated on October 7, 2020. David's friends and family will gather for a private ceremony at The Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home in West Roxbury on October 13, 2020 at 11:00am to celebrate the life of David. A burial of ashes will follow.
