David A. Bartel of West Roxbury, formerly of Newton, passed away on November 10, 2022. Beloved son of the late Carl A. and Margaret M. (Murphy) Bartel. Loving brother of Ann Bartel of Newton. David leaves his long-time companion Nancy Fitzgerald. Also survived by aunts', uncles', cousins, and friends. David was a funeral director and embalmer in the Boston area for many years.

A graveside service will be held at Newton Cemetery 791 Walnut St. Newton, on Wednesday, November 16, at 1:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
