Christopher Lee Hughes, 52, recently passed away from complications of a lengthy battle with cancer. Born March 29th, 1967, he was the son of David and Rose (Pichette) Hughes. Chris was born and educated in Rochester, and moved to Somersworth, and for the last 30 years has lived with his partner and spouse Jean L. LeBrun. Chris was a realtor by trade and also served as sales representative for Seacoast Sports club. Chris is survived by his two brothers, Clayton Hughes and wife Judy, and Alan Hughes, and his family. Chris enjoyed older cars, working around the yard, music and his two beloved Boston Terriers, Ziva and Peanut. Chris also served as a State Representative for Somersworth from 2000 to 2002. Chris will be cremated as per his wishes, and there will be no funeral services. If anyone wishes to make a good gesture, please donate to Chris', favorite charity, Cocheco Valley Humane Society.
