Armsby, Charles - of Newton on Saturday February 23, 2008 at age 81. Beloved father of Elinor of Philadelphia PA, Andrew of Newton, Polly of Cary NC, Margery and Ned of Jamaica Plain, and Carrie of Watertown. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Hannah, of Cary NC. Charlie, a mechanical engineer and a well-recognized expert in power generation, founded Armsby Engineering, Inc. in 1976. A memorial will be held Tuesday, February 26 at 11 a.m. at the Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home,1803 Centre St., W. Roxbury. Interment will be private.
