Obituary

CESAR AUGUSTO VELASQUEZ

On Sunday, May 3rd, 2020, Cesar Augusto Velasquez, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 65 after battling COVID-19 for 12 days in an ICU's Boston-area hospital.

Cesar was born on December 15, 1955 in Guatemala.  He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 37-years Mirna Patricia Velasquez, his three children, Marco Estuardo, Alejandro, and Tiffany, and a proud grandfather to five beautiful grandchildren.  Cesar was a devoted elder and leader of Harvest Ministries of New England in Weymouth MA, where he served and blessed many families.  He was loved and respected by many in the Latino-Christian community.

Cesar was committed to his job and admired by his co-workers and management team at Wallaston Alloy, Inc. in Braintree MA, where he worked for 25-years as a Lead Man.  His dream was to retire in a few years and spend more time with his wife and grandchildren, as well as his spiritual family at church.

Because Cesar was his family's sole provider, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized to assist his family with funeral costs, medical bills, and short-term living expenses.  For those who can contribute, please know that any amount is appreciated:

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, state and city executive orders, funeral and burial services are limited to immediate family only.  For celebration of life services, additional information can be found via the Harvest Ministries of New England's Facebook page:
