Cassandra (Sandy) R. Porter of Framingham passed away on February 17th at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham following a brave struggle with a lingering illness. She was born in Boston on September 17, 1966 the daughter of the late George R. Porter and Arola (Williams) Porter. Sandy enjoyed spending time with her devoted Caregivers, Smart Odiah and Rhoda Gibson. She loved joining them at church on Saturdays and having Sunday dinners with the family. She enjoyed trips to the zoo, garden in the woods, and to Ohio to spend time with her extended caregiver family. Sandy also loved doing puzzles, watching cartoons, listening to Christian music, shopping, growing herbs with Rhoda, and visits with her sister Billie Porter. Cassandra will be dearly missed by her family, friends, Caregivers, Advocates Shared Living and Day Program team, and DDS team. A private Celebration of Life will be held on March 18, 2018
