Carroll, Bernard J. formerly of Jamaica Plain died of cancer August 24, 2003 at the Brockton Veterans Medical Center.

Beloved son of the late Beatrice and Patrick Carroll. Loving brother of Alice Santacroce of Redlands, CA, Theresa Matrango of Dennis, Mary Steeves of Walpole, Thomas Carroll of West Roxbury and the late David and John Carroll.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Brockton Veterans Chapel, on Tuesday August 26th at 11:30am. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45pm.

Mr. Carroll attended Blessed Sacrament School, Commerce High School and graduated from Boston University. He joined the Cavalry National Guard Americal Division, which later became the 23rd Infantry during WWII. Mr Carroll was an avid skier and golfer who loved to travel. www.lawlerfuneralhome.com
