Gallagher, Barbara E. (Coyne) of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on May 14, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Gallagher. Sister of the late John J. Coyne. Daughter of the late John J. Coyne, Sr. & Barbara (Nee) Coyne of Connemara (Foher), Ireland. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday May 20 at 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St. West Roxbury at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday May 19, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment New Calvary Cemetery. Barbara cherished her trips to New Hampshire. She loved hosting friends and family from Ireland in her beloved Jamaica Plain home. She always had a cup of tea ready and welcomed all who knocked on her door. She will be missed.
