Arthur attended St. Peter's Elementary and Boston College High School.  He graduated from Boston College, Harvard Business School, and the Sorbonne in Paris, France, in May 1968, during the riots between students and police, leaving him forever scarred. Arthur sold insurance and had been employed by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Agnes Creedon Tashjian and father Nazareth Tashjian. He is survived by his brother Robert Creedon (Lois) Tashjian of Smithland, KY, niece Debra (Dennis) Tashjian Dockins of Dayton, OH, and nephew Robert (Tracey) C. Tashjian, Jr. of Calvert City, KY, and their children Stephen and Michael Dockins, and Emily and Lauren Tashjian. Arthur was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged.  He had a grand love of learning immersing himself in the study of the stars, reading French, Latin and Greek, and walking his beloved Boston well into his 80s. Burial at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Arrangements entrusted to The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home of West Roxbury. The family would like to thank his kind and patient nurse Josette at Parkway Health and Rehab and the staff at the West Roxbury VA Hospital for their compassionate care.
