Brown --- Rev. Arthur A. of Falmouth formerly of Roslindale, January 14, 2015. Beloved son of the late Robert D. and Helen (Kelly) Brown. Devoted brother of Charles S. Brown and his late wife Mary of Norwood, Sr. Roberta Marie CSJ (Barbara Brown) of Framingham and the late Robert D. and Maureen Brown of Bethesda, MD. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Fr. Brown was ordained in 1957 at Holy Name Church, West Roxbury and served at St. Bartholomew, Needham, St. Cecilia, Boston, Bentley College (Professor of Philosophy and Campus Ministry,) and St. John the Evangelist, Canton. He served as Pastor at St. James the Greater, Boston and St. Catherine of Siena, Norwood. For the past several years, Fr. Brown celebrated weekly Mass at St. Thecla's Parish in Pembroke. Fr. Brown will lie in state at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury, (www.holynameparish.com) on Tuesday, January 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Name Church on Wednesday, Jan 21, at 11:00am. Interment Mt.
