Alexander Maxwell Golden

August 11, 1983 – June 22, 2026

On June 22, 2026, at hospice in Lincoln, Mass. Beloved husband of Kathryn Golden (Boston, MA), son of Stephanie and Richard Golden (Burke, VA); brother of Erica R. Golden (Los Angeles, CA). He is missed by many friends and his extended family. Alexander (“Alex”) and Kathryn met each other when they were students at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia. After his graduation from the University of Virginia (and later from a master’s program at Carnegie Mellon University) his vast information technology skills allowed him to work at several companies, and most recently he was the Director of Mobile Architecture with Fidelity Investments in Boston. He endlessly enjoyed being a Freemason, his hobby of home brewing beers and cycling. A memorial gathering is planned to be held in the upcoming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alex’s name to the Women's Lunch Place, https://womenslunchplace.org/. This organization has been deeply meaningful to both Alex and Kathryn and exemplified Alex’s desire to leave the world a better place for all.
