It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rogelio Torres, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He left this world on March 12, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Rogelio leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Dolores, who stood by his side through life's journey. He was a pillar of strength and support for his four daughters and their spouses, Lissette and Luis, Daisy and William, Evelyn and Jose, and Marixsa and Henry, whom he loved unconditionally. 
His legacy extends beyond his immediate family to include twelve grandchildren: Hector (Chapo), Crystal, Joshua, Nico, Kassandra, Cynthia, Jari, Cindalis, Lizbeth, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Jazlyn. Eleven great-grandchildren: Melody, Angel, Jayce, Liam, Viannahlys, Elena, Julian, late Sophia, Jayden, Lilyana, and Ariahlys. 
Also leaves behind his eight siblings, Julia, Cheo, Ramiro, Neri, Francisco, Jose, Dominga, and Tito all of whom were a source of immense joy and pride for him with a deep bond and countless cherished memories.
Rogelio was a man full of life, known for his vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. He approached every day with a zest for living, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His memory will be cherished by his family and friends, who will forever be inspired by his love, resilience, and humor.
A celebration of Rogelio's life will be held on March 20, 2024, between 4pm -8pm, at Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, located at 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132, where we will come together to honor and remember the extraordinary man he was.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that he will rejoice with his late mother Juana Oquendo, Father Conception Torres, and many other loved ones who have awaited his arrival with open arms. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. 
We will convene at Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, situated at 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11 am. Following this gathering, we will proceed to his final resting place at St. Michael Cemetery, located at 500 Canterbury Street, Boston, MA 02131.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Rogelio Torres, un querido esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Dejó este mundo el 12 de marzo de 2024, rodeado del amor de su familia.
Rogelio deja atrás a su amada esposa de 55 años, Dolores, quien estuvo a su lado durante el viaje de la vida. Fue un pilar de fortaleza y apoyo para sus cuatro hijas y sus cónyuges, Lissette y Luis, Daisy y William, Evelyn y José y Marixsa y Henry, a quienes amaba incondicionalmente.
Su legado se extiende más allá de su familia inmediata e incluye doce nietos: Héctor (Chapo), Crystal, Joshua, Nico, Kassandra, Cynthia, Jari, Cindalis, Lizbeth, Stephanie, Jennifer y Jazlyn. Once bisnietos: Melody, Angel, Jayce, Liam, Viannahlys, Elena, Julian, la fallecida Sophia, Jayden, Lilyana y Ariahlys. 
También deja atrás a sus ocho hermanos, Julia, Cheo, Ramiro, Neri, Francisco, José, Dominga y Tito, quienes fueron motivo de inmensa alegría y orgullo para él con un vínculo profundo e innumerables recuerdos preciados.
Rogelio era un hombre lleno de vida, conocido por su espíritu vibrante, su risa contagiosa y su bondad inquebrantable. Afrontaba cada día con entusiasmo por vivir, dejando una impresión duradera en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Su memoria será atesorada por su familia y amigos, quienes siempre se sentirán inspirados por su amor, resiliencia y humor.
Se llevará a cabo una celebración de la vida de Rogelio el 20 de marzo de 2024, entre las 4-p.m. y las 8-p.m., en Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, ubicada en 1803 Center Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132, donde nos reuniremos para honrar y recordar.
Que su alma descanse en paz eterna, sabiendo que se regocijará junto a su difunta madre Juana Oquendo, el padre Concepción Torres y muchos otros seres queridos que han esperado su llegada con los brazos abiertos. Fue profundamente amado y lo extrañaremos profundamente.
Nos reuniremos en Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, ubicada en 1803 Center Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132, el jueves 21 de marzo de 2024 a las 11 am. Después de esta reunión, procederemos a su lugar de descanso final en el cementerio St. Michael, ubicado en 500 Canterbury Street, Boston, MA 02131.
